| John is celebrating eclipsing the 6,000,000 page view count for his photos at railpictures.net by uploading these rare color scenes of the last days of Chicago & Illinois Midland steam, seen in the early morning light at the Springfield terminal. Later that day John and his railfan companion Bill Rosenberg climbed aboard an Illinois Terminal run from Springfield to St. Louis. He was shooting Anscochrome transparencies and these were processed by a friend. John thanks railpictures.net and viewers worldwide for their interest over the years. |
