A Geep and an F have 14 empty log cars and a caboose well under control as the Cle Elum local proceeds northwest through the Yakima Canyon south of Thrall, WA. Most likely the log cars are headed for Bull Frog near Cle Elum, and before the day is over the turn will have made a side trip up to Ronald on an old NP coal branch out of Cle Elum.
