| A loaded magnetation ore train rolls along the Mississippi River at Victory. These trains are loaded with ore that comes from previously abandoned waste stockpiles and tailings basins from old mining. The piles have around 65% pure iron ore concentrate once the stockpiles are processed. These trains are moved via BNSF in Minnesota to the CSXT at Chicago to a plant in Reynolds, Ind. The ore is then made into pellets that feeds eastern steel mills. |
