| UP 8053 and two other "fast forty" mates plus a trio of run-thru SP units head an OVE (Overland East manifest) through Hermosa, WY. The 8000 series SD40s were geared for 80mph and usually ran in the hotshot freight pool along with the DD40X Centennials. |
