From aboard the Canon City and Royal Gorge Railway's noon train, we see some of Southern Colorado's finest scenery and a signal that once guided coal trains up the famous Tennessee Pass. Now, all that runs through the gorge are passenger trains and the currents of the Arkansas River.
While Colorado's narrow gauge steam railroads are the major draw, the state is also home to several diesel-powered tourist railroads that take passengers to the Royal Gorge and other sites.
