There is something wonderful about waiting in the dark for the shot, listening to the wind twist between the leaves, seeing the bright stars push through the thin wispy clouds, and looking down the tracks and seeing a high green glow back at your sudden glowing smile. While I had been forced to take the safe route a week before, this time with L505, I did not have to, and the setting was perfect for the shot I wanted. After setting out 18 in Durand, the train begins moving again, shattering the silence, as my lights drown out the stars for a flash in time. In mere moments, all is normal again, and I am on my way back home, satisfied with the catch and the memories.
