| After working an industry north of town, NS local P44 rolls south past the old Kannapolis passenger station and freight depot with a string of boxcars bound for Charlotte Yard. This local used to originate and terminate in Kannapolis at this location, but was moved to Charlotte when local operations were centralized several years ago. |
