As a threatening sky moves across southern California it is business as usual at Amtrak's Redondo Junction locomotive facility. Originally owned by the Santa Fe Railway, many of the Santa Fe facilities here have been replaced over time, sans the classic turntable which still sees daily service at this busy Amtrak facility. As a hostler moves AMTK P42 #162 to one of the whisker tracks a line up of three different Amtrak road motors can be seen in the background; including GE P42 (AMTK 121), EMD F59PHi (AMTK 460), and GE -8 32BWH (AMTK 503).
