The crew has come out from Lancaster and has boarded the power, getting it ready for a straight-shot into Lewis Yard at Dillerville. The branch here was rebuilt with welded rail in the late 1980s, from the connection with Amtrak near its Conestoga River bridge to just east of New Holland borough. In PRR days, the tracks extended as far east as Downingtown, where they reconnected to the main line.
