TH&B SW9 no. 56 and GP7 no. 75 idle at their Hamilton, ON engine facility. SW9 56 was built by General Motors Diesel Division, London, ON in December 1950 and sold to Atlas Steel, Welland, ON for scrap in May 1988. It was resold several times since, last reported in Belledune, New Brunswick in March 2006. The no. 75 was equipped with Automatic Train Control so it could run on the point on NYC trains east of Welland, ON. The unit was rebuilt by CP as CP1685, a GP7u in February 1988.
