Remarks & Notes
After I got done shooting a G888 at Masonville, I waited around for a lite power move behind them. As the wait carried on the sun barely popped out from the clouds as big thunderstorms dumped tons of rain over north-central Iowa this night. The lite power never showed up, but it was an impressive sunset none the less over this roller coaster railroad. The thunderstorm would dump over 8-12 inches rain this evening causing serious flooding in the coming weeks.

Nocturnal Nuances: Sunset To Sunrise & All Through The Night!

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
