Remarks & Notes
Twenty years ago, UP 3339 was repainted green and renumbered UP 1996 to commemorate the Summer Olympic games in Atlanta. Three months after the games, it received a fresh coat of Armour Yellow paint and a new road number, the UP 3101. Here it leads four other SD40-2s on a Chicago to Los Angeles stack train deep in Utah's Tintic Valley at Boulter on Nov. 10, 1996.
