Stack capped, it appears that this Canadian Pacific S3 has reached the end of the road, shoved on a yard track in Smiths Falls, Ontario. An engagement with the scrapper’s torch was not in its future, however, as the MLW switcher was repainted into its as-delivered CP scheme and survives three decades later as an operating part of the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario in Smiths Falls.
