It's a rarity that a locomotive and a train of just four carriages can amass a history of over half a millennium! Rarer still for them to be at the perfect time of day for the sun to cast shadows as delightfully as here. The Great Eastern Railway 'J15' in all the glory of pre-1923 livery gets under way from Sheringham on the North Norfolk coast with a truly memorable charter that delivered many, many more wonderful images.
