A friendly wave from the conductor as UP's West Colton, California to Pocatello, Idaho train gets underway at Provo Yard on July 15, 2000. On the point, a General Electric B40-8, built the St. Louis Southwestern (Cotton Belt) 8046 by GE in August 1988. Records indicate it was eventually renumbered the UP 1846 and then sold off to Western Rail, Inc. of Washington State.
