| There was a time when you could find at least one MP15 (both AC's and DC's) in either the North Yard, the Burnham Shops or the 36th Street Yard. Many were survivors of fallen flags like the Southern Pacific or the Chicago & Northwestern railroads. UPY 1324 is a CNW survivor, as evidenced by the insulated windows. Today the Burnham shops are closed and the surviving MP15's have long since been moved out of the Denver area yards, having been replaced by Geeps and a few rebuilt SD40N's. |
