CN 2277 leads an eastbound freight out of basque and is about to cross the Thompson River as it weaves through Black Canyon just south of Ashcroft, BC in late afternoon lighting. The CN briefly shares the same side of the river with CP at Basque, allowing for a junction that permits directional movement of trains on each others' lines south/west of there. CP will remain on the east bank all the way from Cisco, BC to Kamloops, while CN will cross the Fraser and Thompson Rivers nine times in that distance.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
