Remarks & Notes

An eastbound coal train leans into the 1.1% grade of the Hill Track from Reading to Blandon via Laureldale. The locomotives diverged from the former Reading main line about a half-mile back, and are about to cross Kutztown Road in Reading, at appropriately named CP Hill.
