In the final days of the Virginian P-D District, U91 makes its way across the northern section of the line from Alloy on the West Virginia Secondary to Elmore, near Mullens, passing under Sweeneyburg Road north of Harper. At Elmore, this train would turn into a U85 and become one of the last of the famous "hill runs" to Clarks Gap, before the line is mothballed indefinitely less than a week later. This section of track is now operated by WATCO as part of their Kanawha River Railroad, used to transfer trains at three mines south of Dickinson to NS at Elmore.
