CN 2305, an ES44DC and former Oakway SD60 no. 5448 roll west through White Canyon across the Thompson River from Skihist Provincial Park east of Lytton, BC. The area is quite slide prone, thus the sheds and even tunnels on the CN side. CP was first through here and avoided all this until they began the shared trackage plan in recent years. CN has a work train frequently assigned here to remove the constant flow of debris from the mountain side. |
