On the last day of 1983 and last day of the original Toledo, Peoria & Western’s existence, TP&W’s only GP30 No. 700 sits at the railroad’s locomotive facility at East Peoria, Illinois. On January 1, 1984, the railroad was officially part of the Santa Fe.
