The two GE P42DCs on Amtrak No. 6, the California Zephyr, smoke a bit coming out of a curve beneath the imposing Bookcliffs between Solitude and Floy, Utah, on the morning of March 5, 2012. Union Pacific was in the middle of replacing the Rio Grande-era signals on this section of the Green River Subdivision at the time, as can be seen by the new signal still facing away from the right-of-way.
