A Q-train from New York, NY, bound from Los Angeles, CA, has just crossed into Missouri. The train is crossing the Des Moines River and just left Iowa. Now the train has about 200 miles to KC. Santa Fe purchased 83 of these B40-8W's from GE starting in October 1990.
