| C900 rolls south out of Loyall Yard past the old L&N tower at Baxter. The conductor is on the ground lining the switches so that this power set can proceed south to Pennington Gap to shove a loaded coal train back north. The tower used to govern the connections with the Clover Fork and Poor Fork branches but has not been used for that purpose since the 1930s. |
