Remarks & Notes
A fresh coat of paint does not appear to be enough to keep CNW 1685 going. The unit is stored dead and appears to be in the process of being parted out at Huron, SD in October 1980. Sister unit 1624 an RS3 rebuilt with an RS11 long hood has fared not better as the Alco era on the Western Division begins to end.
