When the Iron Road Railway (IRR) took over the Iowa Northern in 1994, some of their power also came to the property. These units for sister companies BAR and CDAC were rebuilt at National Railway at Silvis. Then the units were tested to have the bugs worked out on the IANR property before being shipped out east. Here the North Crew works across Waterloo as they cross the Cedar River Bridge in downtown Waterloo. This was one of the coolest units around with the bell placed directly on the nose. I see that didn't last long, as the unit now isn't equipped like that. The 358 was the BAR #82 before rebuild, and now is the WAMX 3832.
