Conrail ME-84 returns from Oak Island with 32 cars for Metuchen Yard. The train is in the process of crossing over from 3 to 2 track and will ultimately cross over from 1 to 0 track at Lincoln interlocking. This transfer run typically occurs at night but daylight runs, particularly on weekends, do occur. CSXT 8886 is typically assigned to this train. This unit was built as EL 3676 and was later CR 6661. It is currently classified as an SD40-2, but still retains some of its classic EL SD45-2 features.
