After meeting the eastbound 272, NS Train 297 hammers past the Wabash Searchlights still protecting the west end of Bentley Siding on the NS Kansas City District behind the NS VGN Heritage Locomotive.
A real Virginian Railway unit probably never ran across these rails, but it wouldn't be much of a stretch since the Norfolk and Western merged with the VGN in 1959 and the WAB in 1965. N&W heritage from both ends of the system in one shot.
This autorack train terminates in Kansas City, KS at UP Armourdale Yard.
