Quite a week featuring a smorgasbord of weather. After setting record warmth just a few days ago, the north east welcomed its first major snow storm of 2017 named Niko. Having dumped more than a foot of snow in most areas, temperatures rose into the mid to upper 40's by Saturday. Not a moment too soon, temperatures plummeted again setting stage for winter storm Orson. While Orson is making a mess of local roads, the first northbound shuttle to Danbury pulls out of West Redding just a few minutes behind schedule.
For the train and storm chaser. Trains with thunderstorms, dark clouds, rain, lightning, hurricanes - tropical storms, funnel clouds, storm light, rainbows, and snow storms.
