On this narrow gauge line, all grade crossings are worked by the guard who has to jump out, get ahead of the train and close the barriers whilst the train passes before opening them and jumping back on the train.... The benefit of this is that it provided me with photo opportunities at each of the many crossings! Here the train rolls over one at walking pace on the approach to Rajim with the morning passenger train from Abhanpur Junction.
