Having been taxied out from Northern Maine Junction to Old Town, Maine to forward a previous Westbound, Pan Am Railway's MAWA was nearing the end of it's extra mileage on February 18, 2017. Nearing Route 202 in Hampden, today's crew had to be escorted for some of the way by area turkeys. Pretty bad the birds move faster than trains through here! Eventually for fun, the engineer gave the train's horn a toot and scattered the party of feathered guides. Not something you see every day!
