UP 844 is dropping down the hill out of Speer on the UP Greeley Sub. headed back to Denver with UP Train PDVDV1 23, the Frontier Days Special. The steam era water tank that once topped off the FEF-3's tender, and that of countless other monster UP steam locomotives can be seen in the distance. Soon the train will again leave Wyoming, entering back into Colorado.
