Classic General Electric
After southern just clear the Wildwood signal going north on the CSX Chattanooga Sub, CSX Q212-12 (Waycross,GA-Louisville,KY) get the approach signal to depart Wauhatchie (MP J-145.7 Wauhatchie) up the old main track, with a worn down C40-8 motor at the lead (now retired). With rust patches, and the faded YN2 paint scheme, you can really tell that CSX had gotten their money's worth out of this 26 year old locomotive, the look of an old road worrier that is in it's golden years of service, and I guarantee from this crew prospective they would love to see this hunk of junk truly deserved to be put in the dead-line waiting to me a cutting torch.
Looking back down memory lane at the last generation of GE spartan cab which includes the six axles C series and four axles B series throughout the various of Class 1 Railroads in North America throughout the years.
