All is silent as a light snow begins to fall in the small town of Sullivan, Ohio on a bitterly cold Winter evening. That silence is soon broken as loaded grain train G008 rolls through town led by DME GP40-2 No. 4002, blaring its airhorn as it approaches the Route 58 grade crossing. The train is running east on the former B&O, now CSX New Castle Subdivision and is destined for Brunswick, Maryland.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
