Wenatchee has had a long winter this year with snow on the ground since December 5, 2016. Here on February 20 we woke up to heavy snowflakes, which made it fun to capture a bit of action near the yard office as BNSF 7086 gets ready to tackle Stevens Pass with a stack train, and a pair of Santa Fe blue and yellow Geeps (a GP50 and GP40X) go to work on the Spud Local to Quincy. The Citicorp GE will idle for a day before pairing up with a twin and making a light engine move west. As nasty as the snow looked, no shoveling was required!
Taking a look at the same train and scene as captured by different photographers. The best way to view will be to sort by photo date so the photos are grouped together.
