Light snow is falling as an EMD quartet swings through East Fitchburg, MA, with train MERU (a Mechanicville, NY, to Rumford, ME, B&M/MEC runthrough). Three GP40-2s front a trailing GP7 that was probably going back to work on the East End after a visit to the B&M's East Deerfield shop.
