| Having just crossed over the Chattooga River bridge, seen in the distance, Southern 4501 accelerates the “Summerville Steam Special” towards its destination on a beautiful March day in northwest Georgia. This was the first of twenty scheduled TVRM “Summerville Steam Specials” in 2017. These trips operate over a former Central of Georgia line which is now owned by the state and operated by the Chattooga & Chickamauga Railway. |
