Most of Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner trains run with high-level cars built for California service. But there are still one or two sets of cars that are comprised of low-level cars, and on March 7, 2017, a low-level set was assigned to train 564. And for a seven car train, the power seems a bit excessive: P42DC 44 and F59PHI 451 are on the head-end, and unpowered cab car 90278 (formerly F40PH 278) is on the rear. The train is skirting the Pacific Ocean along the Del Mar bluffs.
