A 1949 B&M Russell single track plow (BM 3738), a rebuilt SD45 and an original B&M searchlight signal create a nice scene on the former Boston & Maine in the aftermath of Upstate NY's March 14th blizzard. Pan Am pulled the plow out of North Adams, MA and hauled it backwards to Mechanicville to plow back east (which ended up not happening). While the wing and plow have fresh black paint, the body of BM 3738 retains its faded blue B&M paint scheme applied in 1971.
