BN 9794 was a former NP passenger FP7, one of two that were purchased to cover passenger service between the Twin Cities and Duluth and International Falls, MN. In March 1973 the unit still wears its Loewy color scheme and passenger number, but has been assigned to freight service post-Amtrak. The GN F3 coupled to it appears to also be a former passenger unit. Both are idling away at Minneapolis.
Photos of North America's favorite First Generation locomotives. EMD, ALCO, Baldwin; essentially anything that represents the OG wide cab diesel locomotive
