On the occasion of the members' meeting 2017 of the association "Mikado 1244", the own Ae 4/7 # 11026 returned to the place where she was built in 1934 for the SBB. The mechanical part of this 2' Do 1' (or 4-8-2) express train locomotive for 100 km/h with Buchli drive was built in the SLM works in Winterthur, but all electric parts, wiring etc. was built in at Münchenstein in the Brown Boveri & Cie (former Alioth) plant. The locomotive # 11026 was withdrawn from service by the SBB in december 1996 (after 5,8 mio kilometer) and sold to ADtranz (successor of BBC), but donated to association "Mikado 1244" in 2001. Members of association Mikado 1244 made the technical and optical restauration to the "best looking Ae 4/7 of Switzerland".
