G92 drags a cut of recently loaded international doublestacks over the new rail/highway tracks, part of a recent expansion of NS's Whitaker Intermodal Terminal. The intermodal yard is named for John W. Whitaker, who was apparently an amazing individual, flying in the Tuskegee Airmen during WWII before returning home and becoming the first black engineer on the Central of Georgia and later promoted to RFE at Southern RR, becoming the first black transportation officer for SOU.
