NTWGFD EMD's Isn't it funny how a seemingly random collection of letters can mean absolutely nothing to most people, but to Minnesota railfans, the letters "NTWGFD EMD's" would be enough to quicken one's pulse and head out to the railroad tracks. That's because the BNSF's Northtown to Grand Forks manifest trains have been using classic Electro Motive Division power recently. Saturday's train was no exception, with two SD40-2s and a rebuilt GP35 doing the honors on the head end, seen here rolling through Staples, MN.
