Red sky in morning, Sailor's warning! Well, that's the old adage anyway. Two unidentified Class 66 Freightliner locomotives head towards Pontrilas signal box near the England/Wales border in Herefordshire, working a south bound coal train with empty hoppers destined for Portbury from Rugely power station. Sadly, these coal workings have now stopped.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
