Its getting dark on this warm May evening and we watch northbound CSX N255-06 (Stilesboro,GA-Madisonville,KY) slowly passing southbound CSX Q676-07 (Nashville,TN-Hamlet,NC) on its to Wauhatchie ending its first part of its long journey north for the Paducah & Louisville (P&L) railway. Yet its still amazing how coal trains has a quick turn around rate as far as getting the black diamond to the power plant, for the coal fields. Some 16 hours ago this very same coal bucket was heading south on this same piece of rail heading to one of Georgia Power's Nuclear facility to dump the coal to help to keep the lights on for all the Georgia Power customer.
