"PCC Streetcar in the Brooklyn Sunset "
Ex-MBTA PCC Streetcar sits lonely behind the Fairway Market of Red Hook in Brooklyn during a glowing sunset. This PCC was one of several that were bought for a proposed trolley line that was to connect Red Hook with Brooklyn Height. A tiny portion of the line (seen here) was built but the project was later abandoned in 2003 for several reasons. Over the years the streetcars were trucked away except for 3303, which still sits today.
The MBTA is very dear to me. The first trains I ever rode as a toddle to teenager were those of the "T" Here is a collection of MBTA Subway and trolley I have found on RP from the 60's thru today.
