This stretch of nearly north/south trackage on Deseret Power Ry. is one of the only places you can shoot a morning, loaded train in good light. Wouldn’t you know there was a layer of thin clouds over the sun when the train arrived this day. The light was still OK, but not what I had hoped for. This shot is about 4 miles or so south of the town of Dinosaur, Colorado alongside Colorado Hwy. 64. That second track is Midway Siding, the only siding on the railroad and it is not electrified.
