After gathering the loads at Critical Fork, located on the ex-Interstate Railroad's Dixiana Branch, U47, an ex-IRR mine run, has returned to Norton and pulled through Bopar onto ex-N&W rails. The cab has just cleared the Bopar switch and the crew will now back into Norton Yard. Working with a single locomotive, U47 stalled backing its 30 loads up the 1% grade into the yard. After three failed attempts to back into the yard, NS U44, an ex-N&W mine run, was summoned for help.
