New business! The P&L pulls the first cut of empties from Scotty's new facility at Vine Grove. Scotty's Stone will load rock for road building at Black Rock - railroad location near Leitchfield, about 40 miles south/west of here - and dump at the new Vine Grove facility. Scotty's acquired a handful of older, aluminum coal hoppers, and is painting them in their dark blue and yellow scheme with full sized logo, reporting marks SCTX. Notice how the head car matches the semi to the right of the lead unit. It's nice to find an organization who does it right now days!
