Back in 2003 I was out trying to shoot the last of the IMRL power still floating around the IC&E. The 206 had seen some time in the deadlines early 2003, but mid-year she made it back out on the mainline. Seen here with 3 new IC&E SD40's hammering over the hills of the Mason City Sub outside of Nora Springs at MP 110. This job would pickup 75 loads from 3 elevators on the way to Marquette. The 206, 208, and 209 would end up rebuilt in 2007 and renumbered ICE 6100-6102. The 1st anniversary of the IC&E was coming up soon after this photo, July 31st.
